Overage & avatar hours
Last updated July 2026 · ~3 min read
Your plan includes a set number of meeting-hours each month. When you go past them, you keep working — the extra hours are billed as overage rather than blocked.
Overage rates
Meeting-hours beyond your included allowance are billed by the hour:
- Starter: $12 per hour.
- Growth: $10 per hour.
On Starter each teammate draws on its own allowance, so overage begins when a teammate passes its 50 hours. On Growth the 250 hours are pooled, so overage begins only when the whole pool is spent.
How the animated avatar consumes hours
The animated avatar draws on your plan’s meeting-hours. When a teammate appears as an animated avatar, that time counts against your allowance the same way any meeting-hour does — the avatar is included within your meeting-hours, not billed separately, up to your allowance.
Avatar hours beyond the allowance
Once you have used your plan’s meeting-hours, avatar time is billed at $4 per avatar-hour. This is the animated-avatar rate for time past your allowance; it is separate from the standard meeting-hour overage rates above.
Within your allowance the avatar costs nothing extra — it draws on the meeting-hours you already have. The $4/avatar-hour rate applies only beyond that allowance.
